Oysters in Garlic Butter

Ingredients

8-12 fresh native oysters
55g (2oz) unsalted butter, softened
1 x 15ml spoon (1 tablespoon) fresh chopped parsley
1 clove garlic, crushed
black pepper

Serves 2 each as a starter, or as part of a selection of cocktail savouries.

Method

Preheat the grill

In a small bowl mix the butter, parsley, garlic and seasoning together.

Place a knob of garlic butter onto each oyster.

Grill for 3-4 minutes until cooked and serve with crusty bread.
