Production

Mussel production continues to grow, and for the 2008/09 season estimated production will be in excess of 3,000 tonnes.

For Oysters, in 2008/09 our member farms will hold around a million shells.

The number and geographical spread of the farms enables the Group to achieve continuity of supply as adverse weather or other conditions normally only affect a limited number of the farms.
